- Served in the United Stated Air Force for seven years. Attended Chaparal Business School in Tucson, Arizona. Purchased a house in Arizona. Moved back to Alabama in 1976 with wife Mary and daughters Yolanda and Chitunda. Now the proud father of two sons, Natorio and LaQuell Rashad, two daughers Yolanda and Nikki. Very proud grandfather of four wonderful grandchildren, Torrien James, Sanai Elise and Jordan Christopher, Samya Tamperia. Very active in community and church affairs. Served on the Monroe County board of Education for six years. {92-98}. Working at Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, now 29 years. Enjoys being in the Word and any kind of music, leaning more towards gospel in my later years. President Beat 10 Action Group.
President and Sing in the Choir Antioch #1 Baptist Church Tunnel Springs, Al. where Rev. Whalen Oliver is The Pastor. God Is Good.
Starting home recording studio. Recording and making some CD's. Hope
to perform at the 2010 School reunion, during the talent show. We have been blessed to retire from the State Alabama Dept Of Correction Dec 31 2009. 29 years of service. Candidate For Monroe County Board of Education District #1 June 1 Primary..2010. Thank all for their support for the election.
