Mighty Marching Panther Band

I first joined the Migthy Marching Panthers in the 6th grade when Ms. Rosemary Williams had a group of majorettes (made up of 6ht graders) to perform for homecoming and a couple of parades. Then I made the transition on to playing the flute, which I loved. Singing,"We are the Mighty Marching Panthers, we pass all the other bands bye, the price of Glory is very, very high..."

Wouldn't it great if we could make up an alumni band for homecoming.

I think that would be a great idea. I don't have a flute now though. That would be so cool.

Now that is funny an alumni band and Chris you know you too big to do anything other than play a piano. However that is a great idea however who will head it up. We can even get Mr. Wells to attend. Thats if someone can go pick him up so that he will be on time...LOL

All I know that it is around Magic City Classic and hey can not miss those festivities there. I have been going strong every year to attend. Will be there this year. If I was to attend I would probably fall out from tryn to blow the trumpet. Have not done that in about 14 years...Whheeew weee no way. I will pass completely out cuz they will have to call the paramedics and its gonna take them a minute....hehehaha

I just said wouldn't it be wonderful if we could. Detra, you went off talking about a parade. If I could get enough air out to actually blow the trumpet Lord knows I couldn't march in a parade without having a truckk load of oxygen and a face mask. And Yogi I'm not big that's just a lil baby fat. hahahaha

I am wit you when you are right Chris. Who in the world even knows how to play the scale...Lol. Alright then since it is baby phat...that is your new nickname. Detra now you know we couldn't march in a parade. We would all need an oxygen tank. I would have to start working out today to be ready for the parade and thangs...NOT!
